The Cowboys Central :: NFL Rumors: The Dallas Cowboys are Getting Sued Over a Pair of Burned Buns

If it?s not one thing it?s another, especially when it involves Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerral ?Jerry? Wayne Jones.? Jones and the Dallas Cowboys are being sued for a case of ?burned buns,? yes, you read right; burned buns.

Jennelle Carrillo of Cleburne, Texas has decided to put Jones on the hot-seat. ?Carrillo claims that two-years-ago she sat on a marble bench outside of Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas and received severe burns to her buttocks.

Carrillo?s attorney, Michael Wash, said:

?She sat down on this black bench, outside an entrance and unfortunately she suffered third-degree burns as a result of it and had subsequent skin grafts. She knew, while she was there at the stadium, that she had received some burns. But she didn?t realize how serious they were until she received medical attention.?

Wash also added that his client spent about a week in the hospital.? The lawsuit states that there were no warning signs posted near or at the bench telling people that the surface was hot. ?Wash added that his client experienced mental anguish and disfigurement as a result of such negligence.

I guess people really can sue for anything these days.? Chalk this one up and add it to a series of ridiculous lawsuits that include the infamous ?McDonald?s Hot Coffee Lawsuit? and the Chuck E. Cheese?s lawsuit claiming that Chuck E. Cheese?s encourages gambling in children.

After the rumor surfaced that Carrillo was suing the Cowboys, she deleted her Facebook page. ?I can only imagine, but if I had to put money on it, I?d say it was was probably flooded with people whose ?buns were burning? to find out what the fuss was all about.

Maybe they should put a warning label on this lady that reads, ?Warning: No Common Sense.?
